Aurora Borealis

These photos were taken on March 20th and 21st, 2011, in Qasiguiannguit, Greenland on a recent trip. The aurora is not visible every night due to meteorological conditions and solar activity. However, displays this year have been exceptional since the sun is entering the apex of a ten year activity cycle.
