Saint Louis

Over the Thanksgiving break Ania and I traveled to Jefferson City, Missouri to see my family. Along the way we stopped in Saint Louis to see two remarkable urban landmarks. City Museum consists largely of repurposed architectural and industrial objects, housed in the former International Shoe building in the Washington Avenue Loft District of St. Louis. The arch, formally known as the Gateway of Westward Expansion must be the most beautiful and collosal monument to imperialism in any country.
